Health-information boundaries
Helpful context, never medical instructions.
Debbie helps people find established support and understand possible next steps. It does not diagnose, prescribe or replace your clinical team.
Talk to a qualified professional
For advice about symptoms, tests, medicines, side effects or treatment choices, contact your cancer team, GP, specialist nurse or pharmacist. Do not start, stop or change treatment because of this site.
Urgent and emergency help
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent medical help that is not a 999 emergency, call 111 in England, Scotland or Wales; in Northern Ireland, contact your GP out-of-hours service. Debbie cannot monitor contact messages or community submissions as a crisis service.
External and community content
External organisations remain responsible for their own information. Kitchen Table contributions and story walls describe personal experiences, and In loving memory tributes are personal remembrances. Moderation does not medically or historically verify or endorse them. Community standards prohibit prescribing, dosage instructions, guaranteed cures and encouragement to reject professional care.
How we review our own content
Platform-written health-related content will identify its source, intended audience and review date. We will use established UK sources, keep a correction route and seek clinical review where appropriate.
